Kiron partnered with Western Union Foundation for a 9 months project with the aim of providing marginalized and underserved communities in Jordan and Lebanon the skills needed to enable good education and job opportunities.

Based on the availability of the students, blended and self-paced online learning cohorts were introduced. In total, 300 students took English courses and digital literacy training on the Kiron Campus.

At the end of the courses, selected students – based on their performance and their commitment towards their courses – were granted one-on-one digital literacy sessions with their instructor.

The students reported being satisfied with this program along with Kiron’s digital courses, which helped them enter the job market with more confidence in having the necessary skills and knowledge.

My Name is Alaa, currently studying Business management at LIU, I am married and a mother to one child. The highest degree I have is 12th grade. I applied to this amazing program to learn the English language and develop my speaking skills. Through the program, I was also able to develop my digital skills, and I am now ready to apply the knowledge I gained in my field of work.
