This development is a testament to Kiron's unwavering commitment to its mission and vision of ensuring access to quality education to forcibly displaced persons and underserved communities worldwide. Kiron’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment remains steadfast and is now fueled by a fresh wave of enthusiasm and expertise.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tobias for his invaluable contributions to Kiron's growth and success. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in shaping Kiron into the global force it is today. We are pleased to share that on Tobias’ exit in February 2024, he will remain closely connected to the organisation as part of the group of shareholders, ensuring a continued wealth of experience and guidance.

As we bid adieu to one chapter, we eagerly anticipate the beginning of a new one. Kiron is thrilled to announce the appointment of Anne Parsons as Chief Partnerships Officer and Hannes Rudzik as Chief Programs Officer. Anne and Hannes have both been at Kiron for over five years and bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to Kiron's mission and vision.

Anne, originally from Ireland, has lived in Berlin for a decade and has many years of strategic partnerships and communications experience in the social impact and nonprofit sector. She is poised to elevate Kiron's collaborative efforts and expand its reach to even more refugee learners across the globe. Her passion for forging connections and driving positive change aligns seamlessly with Kiron's ethos.

Hannes, a seasoned leader in education products and the management of social impact programs, will steer Kiron's educational initiatives to new heights. His dedication to Kiron’s mission, innovation and impactful initiatives perfectly complements Kiron's pursuit of supporting refugee learners with the tools they need to build their future.

These leadership changes signal a transformative period of growth and progress for Kiron. A new Chief Executive Officer will be announced after Tobias’ exit in February. We are confident that Kiron will continue to break down barriers to education and bring learning and job market inclusion opportunities to those who need them most.

Our vision of a world where education knows no boundaries remains unwavering, and we are excited to embark on this journey with our new leaders at the helm.

Kiron extends its deepest gratitude to its donors, partners, supporters, and learners for their continued trust and belief in our mission. Together, we will chart a future where education becomes a force for positive change, and no one is left behind.
