Support us in bringing digital education to female refugees worldwide

Refugee women face more obstacles than almost any other group when accessing education or the job market: family responsibilities, care work, and informal and unpaid labour – all prevent young women from fulfilling their potential.

We believe in the amazing abilities and resilience of our female learners. That is why we provide the tools they need to shape their own lives and tell their own stories. Female Empowerment is at the heart of what we do, be it through specific projects, campaigns, or features on our digital Kiron Campus, our female students find a supportive and productive community with Kiron. Yet, we have a long way to go: Today only around 25% of our students are women.  If a woman thrives, communities prosper. Join us in supporting the female change makers of tomorrow.

Help us to prepare refugees for the 21st-century job market

The future of work is digital and digital literacy and 21st-century skills are vital for labour market integration and success.

That is why Kiron created tailor-made short programs, designed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in the job market. Our short programs teach students skills such as programming, web design or how to build their own online business and they are among our most widely used features on our digital Kiron Campus. Our students have come far with us, from founding their own startup to starting internships or getting promotions, but together we want to go further. Help us to create even more short programs so that we can prepare refugees for the 21st-century job market.

Empower underserved communities to become change-makers

The time for Climate Action is now. Until 2050, more than 200 million people will be forced to flee due to the impact of a changing climate so refugees are not only disproportionately affected by climate change, they will also play a crucial role in the fight against it.

Kiron is at the forefront of bringing digital education on climate change, its consequences and possibilities of mitigation to communities all around the globe. Support us in equipping our digital Kiron Campus with even more resources and lessons on climate change and climate action and help us to empower refugees and displaced people through education to become change-makers in their communities.
