Your Kiron Experience
Kiron is both a global and a local experience.
Students from around the world come together on our study platform to study online.
However, your personal Kiron experience can be different from that of other students depending on your location, your educational background and study goals.
Your Educational Background & Study Goals
You have completed upper secondary education (typically 12 years of schooling) and want to study
If you have a degree that allows you to go to university in your home country, it does not automatically give you access to universities in other countries. The universities in other countries usually have their own regulations about entrance requirements for applicants with foreign higher entrance qualifications.
We recommend to check for recognition of your previous education and qualifications in your host country right away to make sure you can transfer to a university. Contacting (local) institutions that offer educational or study guidance counseling is also advised.
You have not completed upper secondary education (less than 12 years of schooling) and want to study
Having completed upper secondary education is not a requirement to be accepted to Kiron to start your online studies. However, Kiron itself does not award official degrees. In order to receive a degree you first need to transfer to a university. Universities have different requirements for admission which can differ from country to country. Having completed upper secondary education is often required.
We recommend to contact (local) institutions that offer educational guidance counseling to check for your opportunities in the educational system and job market of your host country right away.
You want to pursue a Master’s degree
Kiron does not offer Master level courses. However, the Kiron platform with study track, language and prep courses as well as services are available to you.
We recommend checking for recognition of your previous education and qualifications in your host country right away. Contacting (local) institutions that offer educational guidance counseling is also advised.
You don’t want to get any degree but only take individual courses
Kiron focuses mainly on supporting students who want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree.

You may reserve a Transcript of Records for completed courses.
