Improving your language skills is a very important part of studying with Kiron.

You need good English skills to study Kiron’s online courses.

In order to be accepted at one of our partner universities to finish your Bachelor’s degree, proficiency in the local language is often required from you.

Kiron offers online and offline language courses in the following languages:

  • English
  • German
  • French

The majority of the course material is in English. A suggested starting language level in English is B2 (upper intermediate). When you begin to study with Kiron, we recommend that you achieve the necessary level of English language proficiency in order to follow your online courses.

You want to transfer to a German university?

If your goal is to transfer to a German university it is important that you reach a high level of German language proficiency in addition to English. Most German universities require that their applicants have a minimum of C1 (advanced) German. Foreign students are required to prove this with an officially recognized certificate from a provider such as TestDaF, Goethe-Institut or DSH.*

You want to transfer to a French university?

If your goal is to transfer and enroll at a French public university it is important that you reach a high level of French language proficiency in addition to English. You don’t need to provide a specific certificate but a B2 level in French is recommended.
