As our new Community Manager (Ukraine focus)

...you will be responsible for the recruitment and community engagement of a network of impact partners and grassroots organisations serving newcomers affected by the war in Ukraine, including events and activities to promote Kiron’s portfolio of offers. This will also include hosting partnership networking events to reach new students.

 

You will own/guide:

  • Carry out student needs assessments in collaboration with the Programs team.
  • Identify and reach out to potential partners.
  • Co-create social media advocacy campaigns.
  • Host student virtual coffees, webinars, discussion panels.
  • Track the outcome indicators for collective impact.
  • Coordinate volunteers.
  • Develop strategic collaboration projects with partners.
  • Promote Kiron’s developing portfolio of Ukraine crisis response programs to existing and potential students.
  • Create impact reports and disseminate impact results.

About you
To succeed and grow in this position, you likely...

  • Engaged with diverse communities.
  • Fully familiar with the challenges of newcomers coming from Ukraine.
  • Open-minded, people person with strong social skills.
  • Team-oriented and able to deal with changing priorities.
  • Interculturally aware.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and English, both in writing and speaking.
And will likely have:
  • Understanding of how NGOs work.
  • Worked in recruitment of participants or partners in similar projects .
  • Established and nurtured relations with NGOs and/or partners in general .
  • Strategic mindset and can anticipate opportunities that can bring value .
Ideally, you might also have:
  • Knowledge of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning frameworks (MEL)

Your compensation …

A transparent wage model provides the framework for salary decisions at Kiron. Ranges are based on the job category (e.g. software engineers, fundraisers), and the level of experience and responsibility expected of the role (junior / entry-level, professional / experienced, senior / expert, team / content lead). The final salary offer is made considering the candidate’s experience and expected contribution.

 

The range foreseen for this role is between Euros 3000 - 4000EUR/ monthly.

 

You can also expect: 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, remote working arrangements, 5 days of educational leave per year, team-building activities and opportunities for professional development.
