    Key to this project’s future viability is its ability to offer refugee students pathways to degree-granting higher education institutions. Kiron served as a significant partner in terms of embedding the Bard courses in a pathway to a degree and was responsible for working directly with students in the Berlin-based classes to advise them on further study options as part of the program.

    Students received individualized, student-centered support through the selection and application process for university transfer. Kiron promoted the two online academic writing courses called “Writers/Artists/Activistas!” and “Doing ‘Justice’ after Atrocity” among suitable Kiron students.
