A project that aimed to contribute to more effective policies for the recognition of new forms of online learning in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The project was led by Nuffic (NARIC the Netherlands) and surveyed the status quo and the stakeholder’s needs in the field of e-learning in higher education. Based on the findings, information and instructional documents were developed for content producer and provider, universities as the recognizing institutions and students. Although the outcomes of e-VALUATE are of broad use for academic recognition, there is special focus on improving refugees’ access to higher education.

The consortium together with the steering group is considering follow-up projects to further promote the results and to support their implementation with the stakeholders of e-learning in Higher Education.
