Kiron’s team is made up of hundreds of volunteers around the world, with a core team based mostly in Berlin. We have highlighted just a few members of the team below, what they do, and how to contact them, so that you can get an idea of who we are.
Vincent is one of the founders and managing directors of Kiron. He focuses on developing a sustainable business model, and is responsible for presenting Kiron to interested universities and investors.
Markus is one of the founders and managing directors of Kiron. He also acts as Kiron's media spokesperson, and is currently building branches of Kiron in Istanbul and Jordan.
Sophie coordinates Kiron’s Business Development. She is responsible for forming strong corporate partnerships and relations in order to secure financial and non-financial resources.
Nora coordinates Kiron's relations with NGOs, looking to develop sustainable partnerships. She is also responsible for Study Hubs, one of the resulting projects.
Julia is responsible for Kiron’s Student Services, including buddy and mentoring programmes, and the careers and psychosocial support services.
Hila is responsible for Kiron's academic provision. This involves acquiring new academic partners, as well as coordinating the development of Kiron’s academic program.
Dr. Adam Roe
Adam is responsible for technology at Kiron, from overseeing the development of the student learning platform and Kiron's website to making sure that the internet works in the office.
Erik is the office manager of Kiron's headquarters in Berlin. He is also responsible for accounting and legal issues, and manages our crowdfunding campaigns.
Florian is responsible for Kiron’s academic quality management. He also coordinates academic grant proposals and is currently working on the curriculum for Kiron’s Department of Social Sciences.
Florian Rücker is the Product Manager at Kiron. As such, he works on the interface of the Curriculum, Technology and Student Services team to ensure a coherently designed product according to the students' needs, motivations and academic success.
Lucas directs Kiron's marketing & communications team.
Willi manages the development of Kiron's curriculum in cooperation with our international partner universities, and is responsible for negotiating learning agreements with these partners.
Ani coordinates the Direct Academics program which supplements the Kiron curriculum with live online teaching sessions for an interactive learning experience.
Chris is one of the founders of Kiron, builds the architecture of the technology systems which Kiron uses and is the lead developer of the team.
Alice is Kiron’s volunteer manager. She knows the volunteer need in the team and recruites suitable volunteers for the positions. New volunteers are onboarded by Alice.
Aurore Du Roy
Aurore is in charge of Kiron's development in France. She coordinates a team of 15 team members dedicated to Kiron's success and is the main contact point for french academic partnerships.
